FASHION - I Made You a Beard

Women and Beards? Knitted Beards even? You might think that's a little odd!... Well if you studied in Taunton, UK like I did back in the late 90s and shopped in the local Sainsbury's, you will have seen it all before. There was one fine specimen who used to scan my Barcodes, she had a lovely flowing silvery/grey beard that glistned under the strip lighting. I digress... Check out Erin Dolla Blog IMadeYouABeard.blogspot.com she is trail blazing the under 30's beard movement. You go girl!

E-commerce + Polyvore (a revolution in ecommerce)

"Nearly a decade has passed and the ecommerce experience has stagnated without reaching its full potential. Polyvore is a unique, easy-to-use web-based application for mixing and matching products from any online store. Items are pulled together into a visual set of products that can be shared with anyone. Each product within the set is then linked back to the online store where it is available for purchase." Polyvore. You're not wrong there luv, role on Web 3.0. I think we might be seeing a glimmer of future of e-Tail here?. Let's just hope they have timed it right to release their me-Tail offering, it would be a shame for this revolution to not come into power.

PRODUCT The Nu Shopping Bag

The 'new shopping bag' by Susan Bijl, Netherlands. Simple and functional What more can you ask for in a shopping bag? Well for starters it should not be made of plastic and aid in the suffocation of Leather Back Turtles!. Made of coated nylon (the fabric used in shipping sails and kites) these shopping buddies are light, water repellent and super strong.

$36 USD delivered to Europe or $38 rest of the world 'Nice! I'll take two (that should help save the planet, well a little anyway'). For more info check out Design Boom.
