I stumbled across this 'Minority Report' style Video Billboard (introduced by advertising giant Viacom Outdoor) on the London Underground last week (Victoria Line, Southbound Platform). They'll be scanning our eyeballs next, "Good morning Mr Smith, Have you tried the new Flame Grilled Whopper?". All we need now is someone to spend a little money on doing some descent advertising to project on it, the running Giraffe was not doing it for me.

POP UP STORE Adidas Promo Bus

As Pop-up stores go I'm liking this one, maybe because it's a VW Split screen Camper?
Loads nicer than the Nike one I saw last year, a Ford Transit or something just as dull.

No sign of Sir Cliff Richards, the Adidas Promo Bus showcases their new skateboard clothing range, (correct me if I'm wrong don't surfers drive VW Campers and Skateboarders ride Skateboards and catch the No. 31 bus to Ladbroke Grove skate park, under the Westway?).

Nice customised paint job to match, with prints inspired by skating legend Mark Gonzales, "The Gonz" of Vision Skateboards fame. I'm sure I had one of his decks back in the day...

RAD Dude!

ADVERT Sony Bravia

I had a rabbit when I was boy, his name was Blackey (he was black, I was a simple child) he liked to play football but he was not as cool or clever as Bluey, Yellowey or Redey (play the video you'll see what I mean).

Created by Passion Pictures, but from what I'm told the Rabbit concept is a straight rip-off from a painting by LA-based artists, Kozyndan. The word on the Web is that Kozyndan pitched or presented their work 2 years ago but were never called back, Shame this shit still goes on.

When I graduated the same thing used to happen, we called it Fishin'. Get your own fish, damn poachers.

Well worth a look, log on to Kozyndan's Website and Blog

ILLUSTRATION David Foldvari

A friend of mine recently introduced me to the illustration style of David Folvari at an exhibition of his works called 'Process' exhibited at the Medcalf, 40 Exmouth Market, London.

David's illustrations were stark, gritty and humorous just my cup-of-tea. My favorites were an A4 sheet of of white paper with a tiny little long eared rabbit and a man wearing a paper bag on his head, (Dry and Ironic, I like it)

What more is there to say... Oh! The beer was icy cold, good move Dave.

Oh! you could always check out some of David's work at the following sites:

PRODUCT Light Tape

These puppy's, (Magic Tape) project a continuous 180-degree light, bright enough to be seen from up to 130 meters 426 ft, (for you Euro nerds out there) at night, damn that's bright. Totally flexible, wrap it around your head Rambo style or cut it to any shape or size Blue Peter style, make sure there is an adult present if you are using scissors.

Look out for Nu Ravers and Hoxtonites wearing them down Shoreditch, that's if you can see them through the crowds of Stag and Hen Parties you seem to find around there these days.

PRODUCT YUBZ - USB Skype Phones

Back to the future, or what?

These USB Skype Phones from YUBZ take you way back to the good old days, the 1970's.
The VOIP plug-and-play technology is available in black, red, white and yellow and the YUBZ TALK MOBILE in 10 different colors (see above). Plug 'em into your Mac or PC and get typing or into your mobile phone and get talking.

I'm liking the Grey and Yellow one, Nu Retro, a little like Nu Rave but more interesting.
